Meet the Team

Dr. Talon Eric Haynie

Thanks for looking at my short autobiography. I grew up in Crescent City, a tiny town on the California coastline right in the heart of the famous redwood forest. Lisa, my wife, and I met in college and married on August 21, 2007. We have four awesome children, Finn, Allie Rae, Hudson, and Beau.

While attending University of the Pacific, the top clinical dental school in the world, I learned how to care for patients in the most evidence based, preventative way,  and graduated as one of the top clinicians in my class (I was even recognized as an exceptional student by The International College of Oral Implantologists.) After dental school, I worked with multiple skilled dentists in Virginia while preparing and waiting for the right practice opportunity to come along.

We found our home in Winchester. My family and I love Winchester for its character, proximity to family (Lisa is from Woodbridge), and culture (I love how so many people smile and say hello).

When I am not seeing patients at the office, you might find me walking downtown, hiking, biking, or shopping at the grocery store. Wherever I am, Lisa and the kids are sure to be close by.

What Patients Can Expect

We’ve worked hard to create an environment that is warm and welcoming. When you first visit Apple Blossom Dentistry, you’ll notice that each member of our team loves what they do, especially when it comes to interacting with patients. You’ll be greeted by our front desk staff, who will answer any of your questions prior to your appointment.

Once you’ve checked in and completed any forms, you’ll be taken back to our operatories, where our hygienists and doctors will be ready for you.

Whether you’re receiving a routine cleaning or a cosmetic makeover, our full attention will be on you! We’ll make sure to explain our treatment recommendations with full transparency so you can make an educated decision about your smile. You’ll always have time to share any questions or concerns with Dr. Haynie, who is happy to sit and talk with you.
